In early July, our other fruits and vegetables begin to ripen in the fields. First our zucchini, cucumbers, pickles, string beans, and delicious sweet corn are ready. Later in the month; cantaloupe, watermelon, eggplant, and several types of peppers begin to ripen. Around this time, we start to pick our wide selection of delicious tomatoes. We have several varieties of grape, cherry and heirloom tomatoes, in addition to several types of large tomatoes. Plum tomatoes are sold by the pound or by the bushel for sauce. We also grow sunflowers and other types of cut flowers, and have beautiful summer bouquets available at our farm stand.
These, as well as other fruits and vegetables picked fresh from local farms, are available seven days a week at our farm stand.
